- Leakage, at rated voltage, between the frame, isolated from ground, and the supply terminals shall not exceed 0.5 milliamps after exposure to 29 to 32℃ at 85-90% relative humidity for 24 hours and while still under these conditions.

At 32±2°C & 70±5%RH, the insulating resistance value between current-carrying parts and interconnected non-current-carrying metal parts should be more than 100 MΩ.

Switch off the heater after 10 minutes of heating same as when measuring the power rating. At this point the insulating resistance value when checking the resistance value should be immediately 100MΩ and be 100 MΩ after 10 minutes.

Heating elements shall perform their designed function during normal life testing with the following minimum reliability. There shall be no failures allowed during 3750 hours.
